How do I mount the 3-blade SLS propeller?Updated 10 days ago
Please note: The 3‑blade SLS propeller is not compatible with the 2‑blade propeller guard (included in the Foil Cruise Set AL).
To install the 3‑blade SLS propeller, you must first remove the 2‑blade propeller and its mount from the motor bell. Please refer to the instructions here: How do I change the propeller blades mount?
Screws & Tool needed:
- #3/M4 Allen key
- 3 x Pins
- 4 x M4x8
- 2 x M4x16
- 1 x M4x30
Steps to Install the 3‑Blade SLS Propeller
1. Once the 2‑blade propeller mount has been removed from the motor bell, take the 3‑blade SLS mount, place it onto the motor bell, and secure it using three screws (M4x8).
2. Insert one pin into the hole of each propeller blade. Then place the propeller blades onto the smaller mount.
3. Place the small plate on top and insert the screw (M4x8) through the hole in the center of the plate.
4. Tighten the screw securely.
5. Place the small mount with the attached propeller blades onto the mount fixed to the motor bell. Insert two short screws (M4x16) and one long screw (M4x30), then tighten them securely.
6. Finally, verify that the propeller blades open and close smoothly.
