The fully charged batteries are not lasting as long as usual.Updated 2 months ago

Possible Causes

  • The batteries may have been left fully charged for too long, causing slow discharge.
  • They could have been exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures.
  • Storing the batteries at 100% or 0% for long periods can also reduce their performance.
  • Mixing batteries with different levels of degradation may lead to uneven power output.

Actions

  • Charge batteries only shortly before use.
  • Do not charge or store them in extreme temperatures or inside hot or cold vehicles.
  • Always use batteries in matched pairs.
  • Do not store batteries fully charged, and never store them empty.
  • Allow batteries to cool to ambient temperature before charging or discharging.
  • After each use, always place batteries into Storage Mode.

Important: Batteries must be fully charged and placed into Storage Mode every three months. The most recent charge cycle date is recorded on the carton near the barcode.
