What is the right foil to learn Downwind Foiling?Updated 2 months ago

Downwind foils should generate a lot of lift, have good glide characteristics, and be easy to pump. These qualities are typically found in foils with a higher aspect ratio (Aspect Ratio / AR) of 10 or more, such as those in the Duotone Glide Range. For beginners, a larger foil with an area between 1000 and 1500 cm² is helpful, depending on the weight of the foiler and the speed of the waves.
