How do I choose the correct cable length for my Foil Assist?Updated 21 days ago
The power cable connects the batteries in the box on the eHarness to the mast. In addition to the standard length, we offer two other variants that suit different boards and setups. The cable lengths are chosen so that, regardless of your height, you can stand upright comfortably without the cable dragging excessively in the water, touching the propeller, or restricting you while standing.
Regular Cable (40260-8001)

The regular cable is included with all Foil Assist sets. It has the ideal length for the Midfish boards as well as most mid-length boards.
Length: 157 cm – 330 cm
⚠ Important: The Standard Cable must be used with the Foil Assist leash to prevent over-extension, which could lead to cable damage.
Long Cable (40260-8006)

If you're using a board with a longer tail, the long cable is the better option. It provides a longer straight section to cover the distance from the mast’s top plate to and around the tail of the board.
Length: 219 cm - 330 cm
⚠ Important: The Long Cable must be used with the Foil Assist leash to prevent over-extension.
eFoil Cable (40260-8002)

As an alternative to the eHarness, you can also mount the battery box directly on the tail of the board. With the inflatable Midfish Air board, Cruise mast, and the Battery Box Mounting Set, you can build a lightweight eFoil setup and skip the eHarness and leash. This configuration is especially suitable for relaxed cruising in calm conditions and is ideal for beginners.
Length: 70 cm
ℹ The Battery Box Mounting Set will be available from spring 2026.
Foil Assist Leash (40260-7200)
The leash connected to the rider’s harness is designed to prevent separation from the board, limit cable over-extension, and reduce the risk of accidents or damage.
Length: 140 cm - 210 cm
The cables and leash are available for purchase as single items.
