What's included in the Foil Assist set?
The Foil Assist set includes the eMast with motor, a leash and cable, the harness, the watch ring remote, the charger, and two batteries plus several mast accessories.
How do I prepare for the (first) session?
Before you use the Foil Assist (for the first time), please ensure your remote and batteries are fully charged.
How do I assemble the Foil Assist Mast?
The Foil Assist Mast comes with all the screws and tools needed to assemble it to your board and foil. Learn more about the assembly process.
How can I fix the play between the adapter, mast, and fuselage?
Due to standard manufacturing tolerances, there may be slight variations in the fit of some fuselage adapters. Use the optional shim stickers to adjust the fit.
How to install the Propeller Guard (Cruise eMast)?
The ePropeller Guard Cruise is only compatible with the Foil Assist Cruise Mast AL and attaches easily to the motor using three screws.
How do I install the power cable and leash?
All eMast Sets come with a regular power cable and leash. This power cable connects the batteries in the battery box on the eHarness to the motor on the mast.
How do I install the batteries and pair the remote?
You need two batteries with the same charge level to operate the Foil Assist. Let's go through the steps on how to install the batteries and how to pair the remote.
How do I use the Watch Ring Remote?
Fully charge the watch remote before use. Then disconnect the charging cable and attach the ring controller.
How do I install/remove the motor?
You can remove or install the motor with three screws. Only install/remove the motor in a dry and clean space.
How do I install/remove the connector and cable?
You can remove the connector of the cable by detaching four screws. Make sure you are in a clean and dry environment and the mast(s) and connectors are dry.
How do I change the propeller blades?
You can choose between two different propeller blade sets - plastic and aluminum. The Foil Assist Masts come pre-assembled with the plastic propeller blades.
How do I choose the correct cable length for my Foil Assist?
In addition to the regular default cable, we offer two alternative options to suit different boards and setups.
