How to install the Battery Box Mounting Set?Updated 5 hours ago
Turn your Midfish Air board and Foil Cruise Mast into a light eFoil with the Battery Box Mounting Set and enjoy fun flatwater cruising sessions. The Battery Box Mounting Set is the beginner-friendly alternative to the eHarness and allows riders to get on the board, kneel and stand up without needing to manage the cable and leash.

Please follow these steps when installing the battery box onto your Midfish Air board:
1. Replace the coil cable attached to the mast with the shorter efoil cable (full step-by-step guide).

ℹ Make sure the connectors are clean and gently press down to ensure that the male and female plugs are securely in place.
⚠ If the connectors come into contact with sand, dirt, or water, rinse them thoroughly with fresh water, dry them completely, and then apply a thin layer of dielectric grease.
2. Install the mast onto the board and mount the airplane (fuselage and wing set).

3. Insert the short zip tie from the screw box through the loop on the tail.

4. Fasten the cable with the zip tie.

5. Insert the antenna through the D ring loops.

6. Insert the antenna into the tube and string it to the top.
ℹ Excessive force is not needed. String it gently without damaging the antenna.

7. Insert the antenna into the stopper sleeve securely.

8. Insert the stopper sleeve and antenna back into the tube.

9. Place the battery box and mounting plate onto the board.
10. Insert the zip ties through the D rings and loops on the mounting plate.

11. Tighten the zip ties evenly on both sides.
ℹ Make sure the battery box is centered and the zip ties are evenly and snuggly in place.

12. Tuck the excess zip tie under.

13. Fasten the cable connector and antenna onto the battery box. You're now ready to hit the water!

⚠ Make sure the cable and antenna are securely fastened for waterproofness. Don't enter the water without the antenna and cable being attached.

⚠ Always make sure the twistlock is fully engaged for a watertight seal before entering the water.
⚠ Make sure to place the connector caps back onto the battery box and cable to protect them from sand and dirt when not in use. Before doing so, ensure the caps are clean and dry.
